As a vibrant and pioneering production company, we create unforgettable experiences that enhance regular training in the creative and performing arts and boost confidence. You do not have to train weekly with us to be involved in any of our public productions.

 

We produce live performances and recorded media projects that are extraordinary and special. We aim to equip aspiring creatives and performers with the necessary skills, knowledge and production experiences to understand the process of production and gain knowledge of the diverse job roles available in the creative industries.
 

CASTING INFORMATION

 

Our Production Company operates an open-access casting policy, which means that wherever you train regularly in the local area, you can audition for a role in an NPA Production. 

 

NPA Productions is NOT a training company, it's a performance company. We HIGHLY recommend supporting your young people's passions interests and aspirations though a regular weekly training option at a reputable school with excellent facilities and teachers. We do offer weekly training at NPA, but NPA Productions offer an open-access opportunity and we support the decision you make to train elsewhere in the area wholeheartedly.

 

Performances are an incredible experience, but simply rehearsing for a performance is absolutely no substitute for weekly training. Different skills are learnt in performance and training and they complement and inform each other. 

 

 So, wherever you train, you can audition for a role in the ensemble, or for a main character, in ANY public production or project. 

 

Projects are added throughout the year and anyone, within the right age categories, can take part in the casting process.

THE AUDITION PROCESS

​

 
To attend an audition and casting workshop, the cost is just £7 for 1.5 hours. The audition workshop consists of a dance-call, a singing class and a drama/acting workshop all based around the production. There is no need to prepare anything as all material will be given in the audition workshop time. 

 

If successful at this initial stage, you will be invited to a call back audition. This is the final stage of the audition process. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their audition.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

​

Yes, we are looking for talented performers; great facial expressions, good volume and clarity, singing in tune, ability to learn choreography, confidence, acting ability, etc

 

However, we equally, absolutely LOVE to see enthusiasm, energy, confidence, passion, willingness to learn, resilience and professional attitude in an audition. 

​

Most of all, we are looking for aspiring performers who will relish the opportunity to work as a team and we can see they will work hard and give their all on stage.

MEMBER DISCOUNT​

If you are a member of either NPA or ACTAcademy UK, the cost is heavily subsidised and detailed on each project page. If you wish, you may join a weekly workshop at either of these training centres at the point of successful audition, which heavily subsides your fee to the members fees, for each production process and will improve technical skills at the same time.

NON-MEMBER PRODUCTION COSTS

​

If you are successful in gaining a role, fees for the production period covers all rehearsals, coaching, costume fees, etc. Payment plans are available and fees are displayed for each unique project at the time of audition. There are no hidden costs.
